description Lead an international team of Supplier Quality
Engineers to qualify and systematic develop suppliers of blade
materials (fibres, liquids, core material, plastics and certain
metal components) Work within Nordex processes to manage and report
progress on qualification status with a monthly status report Be
the leading force to integrate engineering and purchasing demands
towards suppliers Help to shape the specifications for the
manufacturing and quality assurance processes of suppliers Organise
and audit the relevant quality and delivery processes
Ensure all quality-relevant processes of the supplier are
validated and assure APQP principles are followed Support product
development projects and prototype reviews Lead and organise
product audits and project-related quality inspections at the
supplier Analyse quality deviations with the team using appropriate
technical and methodical knowledge Negotiation and binding
agreement of correction, improvement and preventive measures on the
part of the supplier Reduce the supplier non-conformity to
acceptable quality levels Job requirements Technical background
with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering or similar
Several years of professional experience in comparable positions
Methodological knowledge in the field of quality management (e.g.
APQP4Wind, Ishikawa, FMEA) Leadership skills and good team forming
skills and ability to create a strong, successful and enjoyable
team Demonstrated experience in the area of ​​quality
management Very good knowledge of spoken and written English
Convincing approach to external interlocutors and assertiveness
towards suppliers Team player with good communication skills for
independent cross-divisional activity Excellent negotiation and
communication skills Ability to work in different business cultures
