PR Lead (Berlin)

Responsibilities As the PR Lead for Germany, Switzerland and
Austria (DACH), you will work closely with the Director of Group
Communications to develop and lead media strategies and plans
across our main DACH markets and more broadly across Europe as we
continually expand.  You will play a key-role in communicating
our key messages, especially in regards to our market growth this
year. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Develop and drive best-in-class media/PR strategy campaigns for
wefox Group in Germany, Austria and Switzerland (DACH region)
across different channels, in close alignment with the company’s
global strategic marketing and communications plan. Grow a strong
network of media contacts along relevant media and opinion leaders
in the DACH region, and act as the go-to-person for all their
requests. Define, together with the company’s stakeholders (e.g.
Strategy, Sales, Product, Design and Engineering), our effective
positioning messages of trust, connection and simplicity to our key
target audiences. Generate and implement effective media/PR
campaigns across all audience-specific channels, including
delivering audience-relevant content across earned, owned and paid
channels. Work closely with C-Level to position them as “domain
experts” across relevant channels, including external conferences.
Coordinate external international media third-parties such as PR,
ad and media agencies to drive brand awareness and engagement. Work
closely with product, engineering and design teams to ensure that
our overall messaging is aligned for our key audiences to generate
engagement and cut-through across all our Business Units. Plan and
execute focused communication, targeting industry groups, industry
influencers and other stakeholders. Plan and monitor the
communications budget and track return on investment. Take
functional leadership and inspire the team by sharing your
knowledge and experience to support the development of your
colleagues, both junior and senior. Key Accountabilities Lead the
development of PR/media campaigns for wefox Group’s Business Units
by working closely with product teams, agencies, and the Group
business units’ respective marketing teams. Ensure that brand
communication plans and media strategies are translated into
relevant local market media plans, working closely with the
business units’ marketing teams and approving their PR/media plans.
Manage the successful delivery of the media plan across the year
required both from a central and local market level, and in close
collaboration with the Business Units. Manage the budgets for
campaigns ensuring all information is up-to-date for approving,
raising POs and budget forecasting. Optimization of media
investments for the Group, improving media efficiencies and
effectiveness working closely with the insights team. Monitor media
performance and ensure delivery is in line with service level
agreements, including service evaluation and delivery of agreed
outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Personality: You are
characterized as professional, hardworking and open-minded. You
bring quality awareness, passion for new technologies, persistence
and a hands-on mentality. Your communication style adapts to all
seniority levels. Moreover, you are a team-player who enjoys a
culture of sharing knowledge and ideas. Above all, you do not
engage in petty politics or tolerate bullshit. Teamwork: Work
well as part of a team, with the capability to manage with
influence at all levels, and can build strong relationships with
agency partners and marketing teams within Europe. Strong
intercultural awareness and the ability to build “long distance”
relationships is essential.  Experience: Minimum of 7
years’ experience in media relations within an agency or media/news
organization. Your experience encompasses the new technology arena.
Experience in leading teams or projects. Know-How: Your
know-how spans the various facets of B2B and B2C PR/media and
communication, from broad to targeted communication, with ease in
both traditional and digital channels. You have some experience in
digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email,
social media, advertising campaigns and deriving customer insights.
You have a sensitivity with visual and verbal communications. Above
all, you are highly skilled in successfully building solid
relationships with journalists. Languages: Fluency in German
and English and, ideally, a good command of at least one other core
wefox Group language: Italian, French or Spanish. Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration,
