Reporting ot the Manager, Dynamics AX Technichnical Manager in the
US. This position is responsible for all aspects of Microsoft
Dynamics SQL server 2005/2008 database administration. Your
Responsibilities: Designs, installs, monitors, maintains and
performance tune production databases while ensuring high levels of
data availability Developing, implementing, and overseeing database
policies and procedures to ensure the integrity and availability of
databases and their accompanying software Analyzing,
re-engineering, automating and administering a wide range of
database servers and their database environments. These
Environments may include Development, Test, staging, QA, Backup and
Recovery and Production Requirements and Qualification: B.S.
required, a degree in a related area (Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, Information Technology) is a plus Relevant
certifications (MCDBA, etc.) are a big plus Knowledge of ADO.NET
and .NET Frameworks Would prefer – 2+ years AX V5(2009) application
knowledge 6+ years information technology experience is required 4+
years combined experience installing, configuring, and securing SQL
Server 2008 and 2012 Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
database, analytical and reporting structures, theories,
principles, and practices Significant experience in the development
of data extraction and load processes in a heterogeneous platform
environment (Data Delivery) Data base design using Normalization
and Star and Snowflake approaches Hands-on data audit and forensics
troubleshooting experience Expert in database backup and recovery
processes and procedures Excellent verbal and written skills
including strong technical documentation skills Ability to conduct
research into database issues, standards and products as required
Written and oral proficiency in English and German is mandatory
Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language Proven
analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to effectively
prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure 24X7 environment
Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
